Asian Democrats Central Texas

The purpose of the Asian Democrats of Central Texas is to increase and support the political representation and power of the diverse Asian American community and build a stronger, more inclusive

local democracy.

As the fastest growing demographic in Central Texas, we aim to:

  • Build and strengthen community networks within the broader AAPI community.

  • Sensitize Democratic candidates and officeholders to the political needs of the Asian American communities.

  • Promote the Democratic Party’s message of economic justice and social progress in the Asian-American community.

  • Encourage Asian American participation in the campaigns of Democratic candidates, and at all levels of the Democratic party.

  • Facilitate the election of Democratic candidates to public office by maximizing the Democratic turnout in the Asian-American communities.

Asian Democrats Central Texas is a chapter of the Asian American Democrats of Texas.
